Oracle EBS Consultant – MUST HAVE FINANCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE – Michael Page International (UAE) Limited
This position will support the financial accounting team from both a functionality and development perspective, and will assist the team in leveraging Oracle EBS more effectively. In-depth experience in working with users, understanding their needs and architecting solutions is a must.

Design, implement, maintain and adjust financial reporting systems to cope with its dynamic business environment, business processes, investment vehicles/solutions, analytical methods and reporting requirements
Further develop reporting infrastructure to support an efficient and effective production and distribution of financial reports and determine the available sources of information within the organisation
Translate the financial information needs into the infrastructure environment through constantly redefining the relevant data models, selection of platform, preparation of business blueprints, implementation of databases and ETL routines and roll out of financial reports
Monitor the financial reporting infrastructure and processes, continuously refine the processes and ensure that the relevant KPIs are aligned with the reporting guidelines
Engage in recruitment, training and coaching for members of the staff
Bachelors degree in Business administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
Additional degree/professional qualifications in relevant field desirable (e.g., CA, CPA etc.)
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
5+ years’ experience with Oracle Applications architecture and Oracle e-Business Suite with expertise in functional analysis in the Financials module (mainly General Ledger). R12 knowledge is a must.
Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and procedures preferred.
In-depth experience with managing an IT environment for a financial reporting function and considerable expertise in Oracle e-Business Suite Financials modules (with hands on experience in developing and maintaining the General Ledger)
